Hello, and Welcome to The International K9 Foundation.
I’m Jeff McCall, Master Trainer, Author and Owner of The International K9 Foundation.
With almost 20 years of dog training experience, training military working dogs overseas, law enforcement K9’s and helping thousands of everyday pet owners, I’ve enjoyed a rich and fulfilling time.
Over the last few years I’ve seen a disturbing increase in violent crime. Everyday home owners and families are desperately looking for way to level the playing field and protect themselves. As a result, I see more and more families Turing to the Belgain Malanios for Family home Protection.
The Malanios is my favorite breed, it’s my Go too, work horse when it comes to working dogs. The Malanios is fearless; they will stand their ground at all cost and will not hesitate to engage. However, it’s not a dog that Just anyone can handle. These dogs are strong and can be temperamental.
That’s why I’ve established the Family Home Protection Breeding program here at The International K9 Foundation. My many years of experience has come to bare on the careful selection of just the right breed best suited for family home protection. The Malanios Dutch Shepherd.
My Malanios Dutch shepherds are a cross between a Belgain Malanios and a Dutch shepherd, each breed with an incredible and amazing history. My Male Bores, a Belgain Malanios with a KNPV Pedigree with extensive training in obedience, narcotics and advanced bite work and apprehension. Bores’s blood line is all but extinct; there are no more like him. My females are Dutch Shepherds; all but extinct during WWI and WWII due to their popularity as Military workings overseas. They are closely related to the Malanios, so they share similar characteristics. The Dutch shepherd is very stable, easy to handle, loyal and extremely affectionate, which makes them the perfect match for the Malanios.
My females are imported from Holland with a KNPV pedigree, a KNPV Pedigree is very significant. KNPV stands for the Royal Dutch Police Dog Association. Founded in 1907; This organization conducts police dog trials and offers certificates, that are among the most coveted and respected in the world. This test demands a dog of great character, physical strength, agility and stamina. They are very heavy in protection work, involving distant attacks on a remote adversary, who strikes the dog with a stick before he actually bites and very realistic gun tests. The dog is required to take a man down off a bicycle, the desired procedure is for the dog to take a leg or to leap high and grab the man’s upper arm, avoiding entanglement in the wheels. There is a search for dropped objects (typically 2 or 3 coins) rather than the tracking common in this country. Over all, the KNPV trial demands very hard, tough dogs. You will find both Malanios and Dutch shepherds dominating this arena.
In these dangerous times, I believe this will give home owners and families a dog they can enjoy, a dog they can handle and a dog that can protect them.
My Puppies go through a very strict veterinarian exam, deworming and vaccination protocol. My puppies are also chipped. Applicants will go through a vigorous screening for potential paring with one of my puppies. All puppies come with a Health Guaranteed, free of genetic health disorders for up to one year.
The process begins with initial contact either by phone or email, after that, a Priority waiting list form will be emailed to you. The form must be completed and returned, indicating a Male or Female puppy, along with a 100.00 dollars none refundable Listing Fee. Payments can be wired vie bank to bank, western union or mailed with a certified check.
Once the puppies are born I’ll go down the list in the order in which they were received, contacting awaiting parents. Within 24 hours of contact, you have to decide if you still want a puppy. If so, a Buyers contract and Deposit agreement will be emailed out. 24 hours from the time the Buyers contract and Deposit agreement is emailed out, the form must be completed and returned along with a Deposit of 650.00 dollars. Once I’ve evaluated each puppy and the veterinarian protocol is completed, I’ll contact each new puppy owner to make arrangements for finale payment, pick up and orientation.
New puppy owners receive orientation, along with 24/7 support providing guidance, instruction and answering all of your questions. It’s my goal to maintain a close relationship with my clients, making sure you and your puppy enjoy a long happy life together.
